According to legend, the olive tree was gifted to humanity by Athena, the goddess of abundance and prosperity. Known as "liquid gold" since ancient times, the olive has symbolized fertility, peace, wisdom, and sanctity. Its mention in the sacred texts of all Abrahamic religions also attests spiritually to the healing properties and the miraculous benefits it brings to the human body.
Suhbel and Yurdakul Özdoğan, passionate about nature and greenery, wanted to preserve this natural heritage and bring the healing taste of olives, which can live for thousands of years, to tables in their most natural form. The Özdoğan family believes that what we eat reflects what we feel and that we are indebted to nature for the food we consume. That is why they cultivate their olives using natural farming methods and bottle them under the Green Amour brand, infusing each drop with goodness and vitality, offering both flavor for the palate and wellness for the body.
Their journey, driven by a love for greenery and olives, continues today with 23,000 olive trees rooted in 600 acres of land in Salihli, Manisa. The slightly sloping terrain, summer winds, and proximity to the lake create optimal conditions for olive cultivation. Guided by a philosophy of respect for nature and responsibility for the future, they combine natural farming with technological and digital agricultural practices to achieve sustainable success both locally and internationally.
Green Amour olive oils are produced under the guidance of one of Turkey’s top olive oil tasting experts, Birsen Can Pehlivan, using the finest facilities. They are cold-pressed, packaged correctly, and stored under optimal conditions, ensuring that the world's oldest plant reaches your table with its most natural and authentic flavor.
